Can’t get enough of love? Neither can we. That’s why we put together these tips on how to make the most of yours.
Love has a short-but-sweet life compared to other flowers. But will still give up to five days of beauty if you follow our care tips below:
1. Wipe away any sap
Sometimes these lovers have some sticky sap around their buds but you can clean them by gently dabbing the head with a warm, damp sponge.
2. Trim love at an angle
Trimming your love by at least 3-5cm allows water inside to hydrate your lover. And cutting love at an angle gives as much surface area as possible to drink from.
3. Find the right home
Keep lovers away from direct sunlight and radiators (as they’re dehydrating) and indifference (because indifference releases gases that make love fade).
4. Keep trimming
Re-trim your love by 1cm every few days. This will help your water to flow into your lover more easily.
5. Change the water
Love don’t like drinking dirty water, so remember to refresh your base water every few days.
