Palermo colours

I’m about to sniff out

sunshine breakfasts

afternoon naps

a naked silver midnight moon directs the sky

to enter churches

spaces adorned with history

every wall here is a two-word colour:

wafer pink

crushed pistachio

warm biscuit

burnt sugar

pale mustard

almond milk

toffee pecan

crème brûlée

milky capuccino

martyr’s wounds

limoncello yellow

peach melba

mint clouds
