isolation memento IV

later that year, sometime:

asked the day, what’s my worth?
the day showed me mirrors.
there was worth in the silver on a birch
there was worth in a golden sunset slumber
from my little boat to your little boat
as the waves push and pull
noticing that tears fell sideways
that dreams were as real as looking
with eyes closed – left the spiders to their work
and did not interfere with momentum
