autumn’s colours

yellow tastes like hope

red brandishes a belly fire fight within

brown is a tired question mark

reason to fall when there’s no answer

black is the colour of wondering

where he will be

not where I am

that orange zest hue of here

wakes that daydream slumber

brittle is the colour

when a green leaf falls in the wood

all fluttery, you’ll feel it from your life time

it’s your life line.
