turbulence

poem

turbulence
of the mind
on the plane
in weather clear air
at the starry, starry night
rivers against river bank
as well as oceanic currents
matter in stellar atmospheres
blood through veins
the smoke from cigarettes
nervous thinkers, nervous flyers
a jet stream hits slow moving air
causes injury, uncomfortable
but not dangerous
known and understood by pilots
but not passengers
we are born from this
turbulence
