ENSA ballet performance

exceptional

movements

of an alien plane

a living swan

still, moving

more than dancer

and not

what dying really is

but what it feels

prima ballerina

arms like shockwaves

stork-sharp legs

elongated, untwisted

my heart is red glass

tumbling

empty-hard and empty-brittle

she could melt glass

with just that move

a muzzle flash

in the dark air
