baby

I’ve lived a long time,
though some say I’m young
(the lucky ones
who’ve lived too long).
But I have counted planets
from my crib
and crawled to vast
expanses in my bib,
to see where
dust of comets
had settled,
and cried only
when big faces nestled
close to mine, going
a-boo-boo-boo-boo-boo.
